• Ontario Independent Music Awards, George Evans was nominated Indie Jazz Artist of the Year 2007 for his work on Bewitched.

• National Jazz Awards, George Evans was nominated Male Vocalist of the Year 2006 for his work on Bewitched.

• WBFO, the NPR affiliate in Buffalo added Bewitched to the general rotation in mid-July. Music Director Bert Gambini says: "I’ve been listening to the new cd which arrived with today’s mail.  Bravo!  It’s such a pleasure listening to your music and I can’t wait to share the new disc with the audience.  It will go into our regular rotation starting next week.  Before the year is out, I’m going to ride up the QEW to catch one of your shows.  I’d love to see you in person."

• CBC Disc Drive aired "To the ends of the earth," a very important track from the disc today, Friday, July 14. We're quite simply thrilled.

• Katie Malloch is playing from the disc on CBC Jazz Beat starting on September 10th when her program returns from the Summer hiatus. As Jazz Beat recorded one of the principal sessions for the disc, they are fully behind it. She selected "Don't be that way."

• AM-740, the Adult Standards station in Oakville with a huge listenership has begun to play the disc. This is their first foray into playing George Evans' music, and they feel as though they have made a new discovery, going back to play from George's Movie Songs album as well. We can thank Jim Paulson at AM740 for making that happen.

• CBC After Hours slated to air "You leave me breathless" as soon as Bewitched arrived in their Winnipeg studios. We are once again expecting "lots of support from After Hours" and the CBC for the new project.

• Jazz.fm in Toronto gave "Bewitched" a tremendous advance boost by playing half the album in its first week at the station. George was featured live with Heather Bambrick two weeks in a row, and Ross Porter spent an hour chatting with George and spinning tracks live on air as a part of the Talkback Series programmed by the Toronto Jazz Festival.

• Rather than simply do cold mailings, we received and honoured requests in advance for Bewitched from both commercial and community stations.
